What do you fine folks use? Is there a reason that almost all the tutorials and articles point to After Effects and not Premiere? I'm going to be heading in the direction of a CC subscription, and I'd like to start out on the right foot. However, I work in major network broadcast television (my career is in lighting, not in video), and many of the video editors and content guys are telling me that After Effects is overkill, that Premiere will do the same thing.
